Conceptually Rigorous Animation

Discovery & Concept Approval

    • Conceptually Rigorous Animation for Institutions, Researchers, and Mission-Driven Organizations:

    •

    • Leimert Animation Studio transforms dense ideas, layered systems, and important public-facing information into visually clear, intellectually disciplined animation.

    • Primary CTA: Start a Project Conversation

    • Primary CTA: View the Client Journey

    • Ideal for universities, nonprofits, cultural institutions, public-interest initiatives, and organizations that need accuracy as much as visual impact.

  1. What This Service is:

    • When the idea is too important to oversimplify:

    •

    • Some ideas should not be flattened into generic marketing animation. Some projects involve: systems, policy, research, education, public communication, institutional messaging, or culturally significant narratives that require care.

    •

    • Conceptually Rigorous Animation is designed for projects that need more than decoration. It is built for clients who need animation that: clarifies complexity, preserves meaning, respects nuance, and helps audiences understand how parts connect into a larger whole.

    •

    • At Leimert Animation Studio, we approach these projects as visual explanation problems — not just motion design assignments.

  2. Who It’s For:

    • Research centers and think tanks

    • Universities and academic programs

    • Nonprofits and foundations

    • Cultural institutions and museums

    • Civic, policy, and public-interest initiatives

    • Organizations explaining systems, processes, frameworks, or models

    • Founders and teams with ideas that require intellectual credibility

  3. Final Animation & Delivery

    • Deliverables: Completed animation video in agreed formats.

    • Client Approval Required: Final sign-off.

    • Payment Due: Remaining 10% of total project cost.

    • This service is especially useful when your audience needs to understand not just what something is, but how it works.

Revision Policy

  • Included Revisions:
Each project phase includes up to two (2) rounds of revisions. A “round” means the client provides all requested changes at one time.

  • What Revisions Cover:

    • Adjustments to wording, pacing, or timing within the agreed concept.

    • Minor design tweaks (e.g., colors, poses, expressions).

    • Animation timing adjustments (e.g., easing, transitions).

  • What Revisions Do Not Cover (Additional Fees Apply):

    • Major changes to the script after client approval.

    • Redesigning characters, backgrounds, or assets after approval.

    • Adding new scenes, voiceovers, or significant animation sequences not in the agreed scope.

    • More than two revision rounds at any stage.

  • Additional Revisions:
Any revision requests beyond the included rounds will be billed at $___ per hour or $___ per revision round, with prior client approval.

  • Timely Feedback:
To keep the project on schedule, the client agrees to provide feedback within X business days of receiving deliverables. Delayed feedback may extend the project timeline.

Community-Embedded Cultural Economy

A community-embedded cultural economy is an economic system where activities are deeply intertwined with local social relationships, cultural traditions, norms, and community networks, rather than operating in isolation based solely on market price mechanisms. It prioritizes localism, sustainability, and social cohesion, often integrating Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) and grassroots creative work into the economic fabric.
